Show Lo’s 7th album “Rashomon” is set to release on January 15. Record stores and convenient stores nationwide began pre-orders on December 22. Show Lo has begun promotions for his new album, and yesterday (12/26), he was in Pingtung and Kaohsiung holding his pre-order sign-sing functions. Because it was the Christmas holiday on top of Pingtung’s nice weather, plenty of fans attended. In the two functions, there totaled over 4,000 people! Show happily expressed, that his shout-out in a video clip : “To take a good looking pictures, there comes a price. For his album “Rashomon,” his first release is “Love’s Premier Show” and has already premiered on 12/23 on HIT FM. In discussing his album title, they were torn between “Love’s Premier Show” or “Rashomon,” but in the end, under Show’s persuasion, “Rashomon” it was! Show expressed, because he didn’t want listeners to just base or generalize the music production on the title of the album, “This time, I worked hard in trying out new styles of music, it’s like opening up many doors of music. Show Lo’s album from last year “Trendy Man Chronicles” not only broke his personal record sales record., but also landed in the first place of 102 billboards globally, and for 2 consecutive years, he’s withheld a spot in the annual top 10 records sold placement. The figures are perhaps one of the strangest, with rising numbers even in the recession of the music industry!
