Yesterday, during the filming of Taiwanese drama "Hot Shot" there came news that Director Lin He Long was getting a headache from all the endorsements that the actors had. Jiang Cheng Jin explained, Director Lin is just joking with Show about his having too many endorsements. Be he admits that being a manager, they are very attentive about endorsement ads, so everyone would go to the filming scene of "Hot Shot." The option we have is just to avoid any endorsement ads, "If they could use Show's endorsed products,that would be great, but there are lots of other entertainers in this film, and they too have similar product endorsements, so we can't help the companies put in their logos, we can only keep an eye out on avoiding them. For example, when he drinks we'll request that he not drink any sort of beverage. He could just hold a plain cup, this way no sort of logo will be on it.

the director was just being sarcastic .

ancient chinese dramas.. are obviously set in a more 'ancient' scenery, thus there wouldn't be a mcdonald's on the corner of the street.. or no one would drink coca cola... the setting has only forestry and greenery everywhere..
so the director was jokingly telling Show to film those types of dramas.. so they wouldn't have to bother with avoiding logos and such, because there are only trees around...unless he's spokesperson for the forest...

and yeah.. with the endorsements and stuff... Show has various endorsements for drinks and clothing etc...

for example... it's a basketball drama.. and what's the drink that they should be drinking, as athletes... probably gatorade or something.. but show has contracts with Yu Cha Yuan Tea, HeySong Sarsaparilla, Pepsi, and Quaker Chicken Broth, so if he were to hold a gatorade bottle, these companies would be upset.. not only because he's not a spokesperson for gatorade, but he would be in a sense "advertising" gatorade, without their paying him to do so, while these four other companies have reserved Show with lots of money... It's not so much that gatorade would care, because it would be free advertisement for them, but Show's original endorsements would be unhappy... thus could result in monetary compensations and what not =)
