objectively speaking, I SEE NO REASON FOR HIM NOT TO WIN....
his acting was superb, and he brought life to the character. and it was evident that his co-nominees were expecting him to win as well, you could see the forced smile to all their faces when the kid won. last year, he wasn't really the best actor-material... but this time, seriously!?

(subjectivity starts here) I can't help but think that the STD issue might have had an effect on the decision.

poor show. he really deserved it this time.

this statement is unreasonable but i felt like i just got used. yes thanks to Show (THIS IS THE FACT) the tv rating is high.

HMS was nominated for 5 major awards. only Rainie got it.

AND IF THE BLOODY RUMOUR REALLY AFFECTED THE RESULTS I'M GONNA HUNT THAT IDIOT DOWN.

i'm really upset~~I was thinking he was going to win! Seriously, there is no one who else who could've acted in this role...he completely transformed himself into someone who looks totally different than his actual self~ Actually he played two roles in that show and still managed to have that connection between those two characters being the same person...
He was completely submerged into his role...isn't that reasons to give him the award??

Shouldn't the person who recieves the award be someone who transforms himself in order to become this character and capture the attention and emotion of the audience? I mean, Da Lung has become so recognizable...and it wouldn't have become like this if the person who acted in the role wasn't a great actor...

Really, i'm bitter right now~~Congratulations to Rainie but i was really hoping that Show won~~

okay i calmed down. to those that are still very agitated and upset right now watch today's yu le bai fen bai. you might feel a little bit better. still i can't help but to feel upset.

i have a feeling Show is gonna be SO GOOD SO GOOD in his next drama/movie. Show might be disappointed now but he would swear to himself that the next drama/movie would be a blast. very strong feeling about this.

this is absolutely STUPID. okay the idiot who spread this is stupid and the media is even stupider. there is this forum thing i don't know what called PPT which people go there and gossip. so this idiot said she/he saw Show and this artist (woman and i won't say who) went to the clinic. he/she stated Show has STD. then that person said oh, it's just a dream. .... TOTALLY SPEECHLESS.

that person is stupid but media is so dumb to report such thing. if i said my boyfriend is Show will they actually report such ridiculous thing.

the dumbest thing is, the rumour was reported months ago. a VERY VERY small report on it. at first no one noticed, but this two weeks rumours started spreading among EVERYONE. very fast.

2011 is impossible since Show do not have any dramas this year. maybe 2012 but i'm hoping he would aim for movies. GBA doesn't seems to appreciate him well.

Show will do better. something like this won't defeat him. he might be sad for a day or two but he would tell himself to do even better than HMS. i believe HMS will not be Show's best drama. his ability can exceed that.

like... seriously I hate today. I've been waiting for today to comes for almost a month and this is not sth I expected.
I rather that he had not nominee for the TV kings at all than seeing him shocked and disappointed with the result.
That kid is too young to get such award! They should have give it to Show and the kid still has so many chances to get that after!!!!
I hope he will do a drama soon and get an GBA for it next year or else I swear I'll never put my hope in this stupid award any more.

WOWWW! i just watched it online and WOOWWWW, i just can't stop saying that. I never even heard of that kid's name or the drama he acted in!!!!!

Ok, I still can't believe that Show didn't win...but I'm dealing with it by researching the actor who did win. I really don't understand the criteria by which they choose this kid. Anyway...The name of the drama is 情義月光, which roughly translates to 'Moonlight Friendship'. Someone has the first episode posted up on YT. I've put all the info in the spoiler below:

So, case in point...I think Show was seriously robbed. But I can only hope that in the future, he will get some good recognition for his work. Besides, there's still the 2011 Golden Melody Awards...and his Rashomon album is sure to be a contender!! Wink

not only that. he had to reply the others one by one saying thank you. he actually don't need to force himself to smile. it's so heart breaking. why is he saying sorry too !?!?! it's not his fault. not winning the award is nothing because the recognition he got exceeds the winner.

especially when Rainie cried. she was shocked when Show didn't win. she really opened her mouth and then she broke down.

it's okay Cai jie already promised everyone that she will make another drama where Show and Rainie would act together and win the d*mn awards together.

i wouldn't blame anyone for it but what the judges said after Show didn't win is unacceptable. at first they said Show is great bla bla bla bla after he lost then they start saying because Show is bla bla bla bla. they didn't need to rub it in. the feeling is so bad. i myself is already very upset and disappointed how bout Show himself. i hope he is alright.

for last year GBA you can see Show is still quite happy even though he didn't win but this year he is really disappointed. the difference is there.

if i remember Show is going to Hawaii with his family today. i hope he has a great time. forget about GBA.
