Show Lo's Hand-Drawn Portrait Sold for $200,000? Make That Minus a Zero...

Idol drama "Hot Shot" was on Kimo Auction (Yahoo Auction), starting the bid off with $1, for cartoon caricatures personally drawn by various celebrities. Last week, the auction came to an end, and there was someone that had bid Show's drawing for $200,000, making Show and GTV supporters very happy. But afterwards, that netizen sent and email saying that when they were placing the bid, they accidentally added an extra zero, so that person decided to surrender their bid, and in the end, the portrait was sold at $20,000.

A drawing at $200,000? Show expressed, when he first heard of it from staff, his reaction was, "Which mother wants to take care of me?" The staff was also baffled, and privately expressed, "Show doesn't have to sing anymore then, he could just draw everyday, and auction them off."

Show's fans acclaimed him as "Pica'chu' [Picasso]," [note: 'chu' in Mandarin is "pig" and we all know that his nickname is "Little Pig" Razz] and was on his website fervently discussing this event and sent emails to the buyer to get to know him/her, and asked the buy, "If they could bring out the portrait for everyone to see and take pictures with?"

Show said, he actually doesn't encourage that fans spend so much money buying his merchandise, but because this even is in collaboration with the 2009 deaflympics, so the money will be donated to the 2009 deaflympics.

GTV expressed that this auctioning event lasted 10 days, and in it included "Hot Shot" staff uniforms, celebrity drawings, autographed boards, autographed basketballs etc, other celebrities that had artwork wold were Coco Chiang, Tracy Chou, Michael Chang, etc, and autograph basketballs included autographs from not only Show, but Jerry Yan and Chun Wu too. The entire auction totaled to $72,200, and all of it will be donated to the 2009 deaflympics.
