[05/18/2009 - Yahoo] Show Lo in tears over 'online flings'

Show Lo, badly affected by the recent "online dating scandal", got emotional and cried when he was hosting a variety show on Wednesday.

After a Hong Kong netizen named "Fanny" exposed her online relationship with the celebrity, three other female models also claimed that the latter had taken the initiative in befriending them, resulting in a series of reports that portrayed Lo as an "online player". Agitated by the scandal, Lo broke down when he spoke of this scandal on the variety show he was hosting.

According to him, he was just making friends sincerely and did not understand why he was portrayed as a "player". The Taiwanese media reported the scandal at great length and netizens criticized him for creating an illusive healthy image as a fae of his true self. Lo has denied all accusations.

"I am who I am. I tell jokes and sometimes dirty ones but all just for show effect."

Lo described himself as a tenacious cockroach that will never be defeated. "I am a cockroach, never beaten. If someone is out to bring me down, I'll have to apologize to you. You can't do it. I am unbeatable."

This was seen as a provocative statement targeted at the media, Lo's manager clarified that the artiste was just annoyed with the media for magnifying the most insignificant matters. He was overly depressed with the negative press but never meant to offend the reporters.

Hi! I don't know if anyone as post this, yet, or if I'm posting it at the right place. But, someone translated on youtube the part on that Wednesday that SHOW cried.

I thought some of you would be interested even though its depressing and heartbreaking, , but at least you know what SHOW was talking about.

he has realized his mistake..he is still a person..he makes mistakes..the thing is, he learned from it..the media should stop creating a big fuss over this..he already explained what happened..no need to elaborate..they had fanny's side, xiao zhu said his piece..both parties already gave their word..after his recent breakdown at bfb, this should stop..that ought to mark the end of this issue..the media just wants to sell so they try to prolong this already cleared up issue..

It's so much easier to tear someone down than to build them up...
I only hope that this blows over soon...in a week or so, it will have been a month since all this started

The media really is a big factor to make or break a celebrity. I just hope that they stop sensationalizing these issues. These are normal activities of a normal person but just because Xiao zhu is a celebrity they are taking advantage on his popularity. I wish Xiao zhu more strength to carry on! The moment I heard about the whole incident I cried in the phone. Now I'm glad that he is fine. You are never sure if you can believe the things written in the magazines and newspaper. You have to trust your heart first.
